I draw everyday things
Slow living for me starts with paying attention to things in front of me like a slice of pizza or a pair of socks. I like to notice textures and small details and put them on paper with coloured pencils and watercolour.

About me
I’m Olena, an illustrator and sketchbook artist behind Olsay Illustration.
I started drawing at 27 with no formal art education. As drawing people or animals felt too complex (at that time), I began with botanical art and food sketches. And within the time, the hobby slowly turned into a steady, consistent practice and eventually a small business.
Now I collaborate with coffee shops, small brands and publishers on menus, packaging and book illustrations, and I also sell my original artworks and prints.
